The Experiment
How much can I remove and still communicate effectively?
Hypothesis: Extreme minimalism will force me to focus on what truly matters, resulting in a more impactful design.
Process
Started by listing every element on a typical website. Then removed 50% of them. Then removed another 50%. What was left? Only the absolute essentials: navigation, content, and a way to contact.
What Worked
The site loaded incredibly fast. Users found what they needed immediately. The design felt clean and uncluttered.
What Didn't
Some users wanted more information upfront. Had to add a subtle "Learn More" section, but kept it minimal.
